KintaCard – From Loyalty to Fintech
KintaCard is building a unified digital loyalty network for small merchants, starting in Southeast Europe, and evolving it into a licensed EU fintech platform with a MasterCard/Visa prepaid card.
We start with loyalty, where the market is still offline, and scale into payments, stored value, and SME finance.
Challenge
Loyalty is a proven revenue driver, but for SMEs and everyday customers it remains fragmented, offline, and ineffective.
- Consumers belong to 10-15 loyalty programs, but use only a few, showing fragmentation and poor engagement. (source)
- SMEs still use paper stamp cards: 39% are abandoned and 32–41% lost before completion. (source)
- Loyalty can lift profits by 25–95%, yet SMEs rarely capture the value. (source)
A unified, digital, multi-merchant loyalty network is missing and the market is ready for it.
Solution
KintaCard unifies SME loyalty into one simple, digital network; and builds the foundation for payments and fintech.
- One digital loyalty identity for customers across many merchants. A single QR code replaces dozens of stamp cards and individual apps.
- Zero-friction onboarding and real customer insights for SMEs. Merchants join in minutes using only a smartphone; no integration costs, no hardware, no POS changes.
- Fintech-ready architecture that scales beyond loyalty
KintaCard turns SME loyalty from offline chaos into a scalable digital ecosystem
Competition
The loyalty landscape is fragmented, with no dominant multi-merchant network for SMEs in Europe — giving KintaCard a unique opening.
- Players like LoyaltyLion, Yotpo, Salesforce Loyalty, and Comarch offer enterprise-grade tools, too complex and expensive for cafés, bakeries, salons, and local shops.
- Solutions such as FidMe, Stocard (now Klarna), Flok, or local app builders offer individual merchant loyalty but no cross-merchant network, no unified ID, and minimal fintech scalability.
KintaCard fills the gap: a simple, multi-merchant loyalty network with a clear path to payments and fintech licensing.
Market Opportunity
Europe’s SME loyalty market is large, underserved, and primed for digital transformation with a clear path into payments and fintech.
- Global loyalty management market: $13.31B in 2024 → $41.21B by 2032 (CAGR 14.8%). (source)
- SMB loyalty platforms alone represent a rapidly expanding market. SMB loyalty software: $11.04B in 2024 → $32.62B by 2032. (source)
The opportunity:
A unified, mobile-first loyalty network for SMEs is essentially a greenfield in SEE and a fragmented space in the EU; ideal for first-mover scale and a natural gateway to prepaid payments and fintech licensing.
KintaCard is currently at an early stage and developing its prototype. We are seeking a VC or angel investor to help us complete the MVP and launch our first local proof-of-concept — a critical step toward validating traction, network effects and preparing the platform for regional expansion.
